While we are not new in the sense that we have just opened-up for business, our website has a new look!

The Biblical Perspectives website originally started back in August 1999 by renowned author and Bible Scholar, Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi.

Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi was an Italo-American scholar who has studied and lived in several countries. He was born and brought up in Rome, Italy, a stone-throw from the Vatican wall. For his college education he went to England where he earned a B. A. degree in Theology at Newbold College.

From England he came to America for his graduate studies and earned a M. A. and a B. D. degrees at Andrews University Theological Seminary. Upon completing his seminary training in 1964, he went with his wife, Anna, to Ethiopia where he served for five years as Bible and History teacher.

Dr. Bacchiocchi has contributed numerous articles to religious journals and magazines. He has authored 15 books, which have been favorably reviewed by many scholars of differing persuasions.
